Projects

Projects are the core organizing unit in Visibility.so. Each project represents a website or domain you are optimizing, with its own tasks, content pipeline, link building campaigns, and SEO configuration.

Creating a Project

1

Open Your Company Dashboard

Navigate to the company where you want to create the project.
2

Click Create Project

Enter a project name, optional description, and select the domain you want to optimize.
3

Configure SEO Settings

Add your target keywords, competitor domains, and topics. These drive your tracking and reporting.
4

Enable Modules

Choose which modules to activate for this project: Content, Link Building, and Reports.

Project Tabs

Each project has five main tabs:

Overview

A dashboard showing project health at a glance: active tasks, keyword trends, AI Visibility scores, and recent agent activity.

Tasks

The task board for this project. Create, assign, and track SEO tasks across statuses from backlog to done. See the Tasks page for details.

Content

Manage your content pipeline:
  • Plan content around target keywords and topics
  • Track content from draft through review to published
  • Assign content tasks to AI agents or human writers
Manage outreach and backlink acquisition:
  • Identify link prospects
  • Track outreach status and responses
  • Monitor acquired backlinks

Configuration

Project-level settings including:
  • Domain: The primary domain being optimized
  • Keywords: Target keywords for ranking and tracking
  • Competitors: Competitor domains for benchmarking
  • Topics: Topic clusters for AI Visibility tracking
  • DataForSEO / BYOK: Connect your own API keys or use platform credits
  • Google Analytics: Link a GA4 property for traffic data

Enabling and Disabling Modules

Not every project needs every module. Toggle modules on or off from the Configuration tab:
ModuleWhat It Does
ContentEnables the content pipeline and content tasks
Link BuildingEnables outreach tracking and link tasks
ReportsEnables automated report generation
Disabling a module hides it from the project interface but does not delete any data. Re-enable it at any time to restore access.

Budget Tracking

Each project can have a budget that tracks credit consumption across all SEO activities within that project. View spending breakdowns by:
  • AI Visibility checks
  • Keyword ranking pulls
  • Agent activity
Budget data is available on the project Overview tab and in your company-level billing dashboard.
